Can I add a country to my subscription mid-year?
Yes. You can add a country to an active subscription at any time — for products priced per country such as Energy Prices & Markets and Industry Economics & Competitiveness. This is done through the self-service Upgrade Plan flow, with no need to cancel and re-subscribe. Only the subscription owner can make this change:
- Log in at intratec.us with your email and password.
- Click on "Subscriptions" in the left menu.
- Locate the subscription and click "Upgrade Plan."
- Select the additional country or countries to add.
Access to the new coverage is granted as soon as payment is confirmed.
Coverage can only be added — countries cannot be switched or removed mid-cycle.
How is the cost calculated when I add a country later?
When you add a country mid-cycle, the moment of the change is treated as purchasing the larger subscription. You pay the annual fee for the subscription with the added country, minus a prorated credit for the unused time remaining on your current subscription. After payment, access to the new country is granted and the updated subscription runs for another full year.
You are 4 months into a subscription costing USD 600 per year. You add a country, bringing the subscription to USD 900 per year. The unused 8 months on your current subscription are worth USD 400, so your charge is USD 900 − USD 400 = USD 500, and your subscription runs for a full year from that date.
Can I remove a country from my subscription?
Reducing your subscription coverage — such as removing a country — is not supported as a direct mid-cycle operation. The documented path for reducing coverage is to cancel your current subscription and purchase a new one with the smaller coverage set once the current billing period ends.
When you cancel, your access continues until the end of the current billing cycle. No refund is issued for the remaining time. When you re-subscribe, the price in effect at that time applies — which may be higher if fees have been adjusted since your original purchase.
Keeping your subscription active on auto-renewal with a credit card or PayPal locks in your current rate. Cancelling to change coverage means giving up that rate protection.

Do all countries in my subscription use the same plan?
Yes — the plan tier (Starter, Pro, or Advanced) applies to your entire subscription, covering all countries included. There is no option to assign different plan tiers to different countries within a single subscription.
For products priced per country — Energy Prices & Markets and Industry Economics Worldwide — your selected plan determines the features, historical data depth, delivery methods, and user count available for every country in your subscription. If you need a higher-tier feature for any country, you would need to upgrade the full subscription to the corresponding plan.
Will I get a single invoice for all my countries?
Invoices are issued at the subscription level. When you subscribe to multiple countries in a single checkout, the invoice covers the full subscription — all countries included — under a single billing record.
To access your invoices at any time:
- Log in at www.intratec.us with your email and password.
- Click on Invoices in the left menu.
- Locate the invoice and click to download it.
If you need a P.O. number included on the invoice, add it in the Customer / Purchase Order (P.O.) Number field during checkout.
