Intratec Core Values



Here we present Intratec Core Values: a set of guiding principles and fundamental beliefs that help a group of people function together as a team and work toward a common business goal.

Our values have thoughtfully evolved over time, and we use them to guide everything from our decision-making to how we interact with our team and our users. In fact, we anchor much of our success to the way we live out our values.

This is a live document: the way we describe our values and behaviors is continually adjusted based on lessons learned in the course of doing business, as we strive to make them better reflect who we are and how we work.

⚖ Integrity



We treat others the way we like to be treated


We are strict about ethical issues, and extremely responsible when handling Intratec information
We are non-political, and only say things about fellow co-workers that you say to their face
We hold yourself accountable, accept responsibility, and face the consequences of your actions
We commit to doing what we say we will do
We are extremely focused on accomplishing great works, and we make critics exclusively to achieve it – it’s always about the work, never about people
We can take critics to our work in a natural way, never taking it personally

👁 Transparency by Default



Transparency permeates everything we do, fostering an ambient of trust


We admit mistakes freely and openly, so that others can learn and not repeat mistakes
We always share relevant information, even when worrisome to do so
We do not disagree quietly…you disagree openly and explain why
We make your work as accessible and auditable as possible
We are radically frank with each other
We are selfless in giving feedback to our colleagues, even if it is uncomfortable to do so
We are concise and articulate in speech and writing

We are just constantly thinking… it is that simple


We are passionate about learning and learn rapidly
We are enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment, highly aligned yet loosely coupled to the team
We balance efficiency with flexibility, never missing the big picture
We value freedom and responsibility over rules and procedures
We value skills over tools or content

Each one is the responsible captain of its own ship


We are always available to solve urgent problems of the company, even if out of our primary attributions
We feel responsible for doing the right thing to help Intratec at every juncture
We are self-disciplined persons, who discover and fix issues without being told to do so
We are self-managed persons, who values freedom and responsibility to the point of not needing supervision
Each one of us takes a decision after sharing and digesting others’ views, never waiting for consensus
Each one of us take care of our own obligations

We worry about Intratec goals, not only our primary activities

Each one of us seek what is best for the company, rather than for itself


We trust our colleagues, and are able to assign tasks
We make time to help colleagues
We do not confuse collaboration with consensus nor playing politics
We address behavior, but don't label people
